Take CBD Regularly to Maximize Benefits
CBD isn’t meant to be felt immediately. When you take CBD, it interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system is responsible for regulating various cardiovascular, nervous, and immune system functions inside your cells. CBD supplements the ECS, helping it optimize these body functions through maintaining homeostasis. Depending on your health baseline, lifestyle and genetics, your body’s adjustment to CBD could take more or less time. CBD compounds in your body over time, so the more often you consume it, the longer you’ll notice and benefit from its effects.
Try a Higher Dose
OK - now you’ve been taking a couple drops of CBD for a few days. If you’re still not noticing any subtle changes, it might be time to try a higher dose. Everyone’s body is different, so we’ll always recommend starting with a low dose (somewhere between 5-10mg CBD/day). From there, a gradual increase in the amount of CBD you consume may help you feel more effects. These effects will never be profound enough to alter your mental state, or make you feel high - that’s what THC is for.
